Human Rights, Governance, Peace and Security
Strengthening rights awareness, accountable governance, peacebuilding and inclusive public participation.
About the Program
Resilient communities need peaceful coexistence and inclusive decision-making. MAL supports civic education, human rights awareness and constructive dialogue—especially where natural resources and livelihoods intersect.
Advocacy remains lawful, non-partisan and centred on local and marginalized communities.
What We Do
- Promote human rights awareness, access to justice, civic education, accountable governance and meaningful public participation.
- Support peacebuilding, conflict prevention, mediation, community dialogue and responsible management of natural-resource conflicts.
- Promote rights and participation of LOCAL COMMUNITIES and marginalized communities through lawful, non-partisan advocacy.
Our Approach
We work through dialogue, education and local leadership development so peace and governance become everyday community practice.
