Health, Nutrition and Well-being
Supporting community health, nutrition, WASH and wellbeing with clear links to public services.
About the Program
Healthy households are more resilient households. MAL promotes community-level health and nutrition so families can prevent illness, eat better and know where to seek care.
Work strengthens everyday awareness while linking people to public health systems rather than replacing them.
What We Do
- Support community health promotion, disease prevention, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent well-being, nutrition and healthy diets.
- Promote water, sanitation and hygiene, mental health and psychosocial well-being, sexual and reproductive health information and appropriate community referral systems.
- Strengthen community awareness, health-seeking behaviour and linkages with public health services.
Our Approach
We work in schools, groups and community spaces, pairing prevention and nutrition education with referral pathways to essential services.
