Our Story

MAL was established as a community-driven organization to respond to interconnected challenges of food insecurity, poor health and nutrition, climate change, environmental degradation, livelihood vulnerability, unemployment, inequality, exclusion and conflict. Adopted on 25 February 2022 in Nakuru, our Constitution sets out a transparent, accountable and non-partisan framework for members and communities to organize, mobilize resources, build partnerships and implement sustainable development initiatives.
